First Pre-Inquest Reviews in Inquests into shootings in Plymouth

Today, the Senior Coroner for Plymouth, Torbay and South Devon, Ian Arrow, conducted the first Pre-Inquest Reviews in the inquests into the fatal shooting of five people in Keyham, Plymouth, on 12th August 2021 and, separately, into the death of the person that shot them.

Jason Beer QC is instructed by the Chief Constable of Devon & Cornwall Police and Russell Fortt is instructed on behalf of the Home Office.

The investigations into the shootings are still underway, and the next Pre-Inquest Review will be held on 15th March 2022.

The hearings were covered in the media by the BBC, by ITV and in the Independent.
