Barney Branston acts for Staffordshire Police in Adrian MacDonald Inquest.
On the 28th of November, a jury returned their conclusion in the Inquest of Mr Adrian MacDonald. They ruled Mr MacDonald’s death was caused by the effects of cocaine and stress of the incident. The inquest lasted two and a half weeks and the jury determined that misinformation given in a 999 call affected the police decision and response and the level of force used. This was said to be a significant factor in the stress of the deceased.
