Peter Taheri appointed as Assistant Coroner for Suffolk

Peter Taheri has been appointed as an Assistant Coroner for Suffolk, starting in the new year. He will work closely with the Senior Coroner and Area Coroner, as well as conducting his own investigations and inquests.

Notwithstanding this part-time appointment, Peter will continue to practise from 5 Essex Chambers and accepts instructions in the usual way. In addition to his practice in Inquests, he has extensive experience across the broad range of Police Law.

Peter said, “I am honoured and delighted by this appointment and very much looking forward to taking up this responsibility.”
