Remi’s public law and administrative work encompasses acting in judicial review proceedings for police forces and public bodies. He has experience of public interest immunity applications in civil claims and public law proceedings.
He was instructed by Ofgem in relation to the Renewable Heat Incentive Inquiry and regularly acts for police forces in making and/or resisting disclosure applications in public law proceedings in the High Court Family Division.
Human rights issues arise throughout Remi’s practice, both domestic and international. He has advised on liability and damages under the Human Rights Act 1998 and frequently acts in cases where human rights are engaged, either on a freestanding basis or in conjunction with other issues.
