Peter practises across 5 Essex Court’s core areas, representing police forces, public authorities, companies and individuals. He transferred to the Bar in 2015, taking tenancy at 5 Essex Court in 2018. Peter qualified as a solicitor in 2010, practising litigation and international arbitration at Hogan Lovells. He also has extensive experience working in the United Nations and NGO sectors.
In addition to his English practice, Peter has a growing practice in international law and Commonwealth human rights litigation, particularly in Privy Council jurisdictions. His recent judgments include Day and Bodden Bush v the Attorney General of the Cayman Islands in both the Grand Court and the Court of Appeal.
Peter has been called to the Bar of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and has been granted ad hoc rights of audience in the Cayman Islands.
Peter is a member of the Attorney General's C Panel of Counsel.
